Medic & Public Health Association Malaysia (MPHAM) s non-profit organization deal with education and sharing of medical and public health progress, in Malaysia. With the rapid pace of medical and health education advancement, it is imperative to contribute to the proliferation of this knowledge. The mission of the Medic & Public Health Association Malaysia (MPHAM) is to sustain and cherish the quality and effectiveness of health care by fostering excellence and professionalism in the practice of medicine in the country.
The vision of the Medic & Public Health Association Malaysia (MPHAM) is to be recognized as the leader in promoting quality health care, advocacy, education and career fulfillment in medical, public health and its subspecialties.

Medicine is the science and practice of the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease. Medicine encompasses a variety of health care practices evolved to maintain and restore health by the prevention and treatment of illness. Contemporary medicine applies biomedical science, biomedical research, genetics, and medical technology to diagnose, treat, and prevent injury and disease, typically through pharmaceuticals or surgery, but also through therapies as diverse as psychotherapy, external splints and traction, medical devices, biologics, and ionizing radiation, amongst others.
Aims & Scope
Matrix Science Medica (MSM) is a peer reviewed scientific journal that publishes high quality original research papers focusing on Human and Veterinary Medical Science. The journal covers different fields of study including Bacteriology, Parasitology, Pathology, Virology, Immunology, Mycology, Epidemiology and Public health, Biotechnology, Meat science, Diseases of Avian and Aquatic animals, Human and Animal Nutrition, Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Theriogenology, Genetics, Companion and wild animals, Laboratory animals and animal models of human infections. Studies on zoonotic and emerging infections are highly appreciated. The principal form of publication is the full-length article which contains substantial results from a major program of research. The journal also accepts brief reports that have similar subject scope as the full-length article, but do not merit a full-length publication, as well as concise review articles on the latest developments. All the articles published by MSM are made freely available online. All the accepted articles are posted online immediately as soon as they are ready for publication.

We follow closely the industry associations, such as the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), that set standards and provide guidelines for best practices in order to meet these requirements. Digital Archiving Wolters Kluwer Medknow provides for long-term digital preservation through two primary partnerships, Portico and CLOCKSS. Portico is a leading digital preservation service worldwide. The content is preserved as an archival version and is not publically accessible via Portico, but is provided when required under specific conditions, such as discontinuation of the collection or catastrophic failure of the website. CLOCKSS will enable any library to maintain their own archive of content from Wolters Kluwer Medknow and other publishers, with minimal technical effort and using cheaply available hardware. Ahead of Print policy Articles published online under the Ahead of Print model are considered published and can be cited and quoted using the DOI as the reference source. Wolters Kluwer Medknow has a policy that changes will not be made after publication of an article without following accepted procedures for making corrections to the scientific record. Advertisements While advertisements are crucial to this journal to be able to keep all content free for everyone, ethical considerations are in place to ensure the integrity of the journal and its content: - "Pop-up" and "banner" ads appear on a random, rotating basis. The advertiser has no control or input over the pages where their ads appear.
- The Editorial Board has full and final approval over the content of all advertisements.
- Advertisers will never be shown any manuscripts or other content prior to publication.

Studies on zoonotic and emerging infections are highly appreciated.. Articles with clinical interest and implications will be given preference.
